Are you feeling stuck in the shadowlands of grief? Have you experienced infertility, pregnancy or neonatal loss, or the death of a partner, parent, or friend, or the loss of job, home or precious pet? Counselling is a warm, safe place to grieve.
Have you discovered that your partner, or former partner, is LGBT+? Finding out that someone you love is not who you thought they were, is often a confusing, isolating, misunderstood grief. I hear you, I see you, I get it. You are not alone.
Hi, I’m Karen
When life has not worked out quite as you’d hoped, and you are feeling stuck in your pain or grief, counselling can be just the lifeline you need. Where you are now is not where you will always be. We can work together to help you reconnect to the hope, strength and resilience that lies within you.
My professional counselling training along with a number of personal experiences of grief and hurt enhance my capacity to connect empathically to your experience while also respecting your individual journey and professional boundaries. Counselling has been a pivotal aid in my own life journey, so I have experienced both sides of the counselling space. I use a person-centred, strength-based approach, drawing on a variety of modalities as I come alongside you to support your journey of discovering the hope and meaning you long for.
